The Second Brain, interactive
This is a live map of the system I use to run a 300-person sales and monetization business: a fleet of scheduled jobs, one human gate, and one knowledge graph. Explore the map above or take the guided tour. The full write-up is in the deep-dive.
The six layers
- What flows in. Meetings (auto-transcribed), about sixty team chat threads, email and leadership mailing lists, the calendar, a private screen journal, and links and notes.
- The fleet. Twelve scheduled jobs that run without being asked — around twenty headless runs on a weekday.
- The human gate. Machines propose; I approve. Proposals land as editable staging sheets, and an import applies exactly what I tick.
- The knowledge graph. Every task, decision, problem, insight, operating rule and person note carries one Context field that links it to a business domain. Opening a domain assembles its whole dashboard.
- The cockpit. On-demand skills load the graph back before a room or a decision: meeting prep with stakeholder simulation, an advisor that argues with my own recorded thinking, an analyst that runs SQL over spreadsheets, and a progress review that grades priorities against numbers.
- What flows out. Meeting briefs, minutes, graded leadership updates, workbooks, a weekly scorecard and published content — plus a task board and a short chat message for each team member, whose ticks and replies close tasks back in the graph.
The fleet
- Meeting Stager — stages a review sheet for every meeting, twice each workday.
- Chat Listener and Digest — captures team threads continuously; a daily digest keeps what matters.
- Chat Stager — turns the digest into proposals on one weekly review sheet.
- Same-Night Import — a senior leader's ask becomes a task the same night; deterministic and reversible.
- Leadership-Mail Harvester — sweeps leadership mailing lists every Monday.
- Day-Prep Generator — builds tomorrow's prep every night.
- Team Task Sync — publishes each person's open tasks to their own sheet; their ticks close them.
- Closure Recorder — writes the day's closed tasks into the day journal as progress.
- Weekly Scorecard — grades the week every Friday.
- Intraday Pulse — checks twice a day whether today's top outcome is getting the hours.
- Sleep Cycle — snapshots memory every night and consolidates it on Saturdays.
- Watchdog Board — a dead-man's switch over every job; green means it verifiably ran.
